How it works.

Property owners get paid to host solar or energy storage — and ideally both. We handle permits, entitlements, and connection to the grid. Starting with a site evaluation, our team shepherds projects through to operation. When a lease expires, we restore property to previous conditions.

  • We’ll provide a free preliminary evaluation of your site based on factors like size, utility area, and proximity to the grid. If we deem your site has suitable development potential, we’ll provide a formal offer letter outlining sale or lease terms.

  • We lease properties for periods of 20+ years. A site control agreement is a prerequisite to interconnect with the utility. Recognizing that every site and owner has distinct objectives, we prioritize structuring our agreements to ensure your unique requirements are met.

  • Property owners spend nothing out of pocket, and typically can continue to use their land until construction. Our team manages the rest, including engineering and environmental studies, system design, entitlements, and connection to the grid.

  • Your system will generate power for 20+ years. It is quiet, safe, and as dependable as the sun. System and surrounding property maintenance are guaranteed for its lifetime. At the end of the lease, we’ll return your property to its original condition.

Host Site Qualifications

Developable Land

We buy and lease land to host ground-mounted solar farm projects and battery storage systems. In addition to greenfield sites, brownfield, landfill, fallow, or otherwise challenging property can be monetized. The best-suited sites have these qualities:

  • 10+ acres

  • Located near a power substation

  • Flat or gently south-facing

  • Solar-friendly zoning

  • Limited wetlands & endangered species

Commercial & Industrial Rooftops

Our zero-penetration rooftop systems present a great opportunity to offset maintenance expenses, increase NOI, and provide long-term revenue. While they can benefit, tenants are under no obligation to purchase power. With our solar panels, you’ll have a credit tenant for 20+ years.
